Trey Cook, a native of Washington, DC, hails from a very musically inclined family. His father, a very skilled organist and pianist, and His mother, a gifted contralto, has instilled and constantly kept Trey around music. At the age of 3, Trey began playing the drums and by the age of 6 he was the church drummer for his home church, where he kept that position until the age of 12. At the age of 12 Trey's grandfather began showing him scales and chords on the piano. Since then, Trey has went above and beyond his family's wildest expectations. His natural ear for music and God given gift of songwriting, has propelled him into places that he could not even imagine.
In February 2016, Trey offered the world a glimpse into his heart with the release of his first single, Out Pour. His lyrics are touching the hearts of many, which is based off real life struggles and experiences. Following the 2016 realease, Trey released his sophmore single "No Fear" in 2020.
Being a miracle child, Trey's testimony is being displayed through his ministry, not only while singing, but in his everyday life. With relocating to the DMV area, he is excited for the future opportunities and doors God is going to open for him as he embarks upon this new journey, as a solo artist. Trey has been afforded the opportunity to work with many artists, such as Charles Butler, James Fortune, Sam Roberts, Kevin Terry, Resound, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Michelle Prather, and many others. In addition, he is pleased to be the founder of his own flourishing ministry, "Trey Cook & eLevated Worship".
Trey believes in and stands on the Word of God and declares that no matter what has happened in his past, and where this journey takes him in the future, Romans 8:28 will be his mantra, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
